Radiant Barrier Foil - developed by NASA

Radiant Barrier Foil rollWe use Energy Star Products Radiant Barrier Foil, which is a sheet of metallic fabric that is stapled to the rafters in your attic. We offer 5 mil thick woven foil that is reflective on both sides.

This product reflects 97% of the sun's radiant heat to keep it from entering the attic. Not "up to", but a total of 97%. Your attic will be cooler in the summer so your air conditioner will not have to run as hard or as long to keep the living areas of your home at a comfortable temperature. In fact, Radiant Barrier Foil will allow your air conditioning system to work up to 42% more efficiently and save you money.

Spray on radiant barrierThe Spray-on Radiant Barrier we use is an aluminum based spray on silver paint that is applied to the inside surface of the attic. We apply a double coat of the Spray-on Radiant Barrier paint to insure the most energy efficiency possible.

This product can block up to 75% of the sun's radiant heat. Your attic will be cooler in the summer so your air conditioner will not have to run as hard or as long to keep the living areas of your home at a comfortable temperature. The Spray-on Radiant Barrier will allow your air conditioning system to work more efficiently and save you money.

 

Blown-in Insulation - time proven efficiency

Blown in insulationWe use Energy Star Products high quality blown in insulation. It is carefully blown into your attic space between the ceiling joists. This provides an insulating barrier between the temperature extremes of your attic - which is hot in the summer and cold in the winter - and the living area of your home. Insulation has long been proven as a means of energy efficiency. The allows for more efficient operation of your heating system in the winter and your air conditioning system in summer. This higher efficiently in both the summer and the winter gives you year-round savings by reducing energy costs while keeping your home at a comfortable temperature.
